Biography

Studied at Brighton School of Art, Farnham School of Art. Afterwards at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Taught at schools in Surrey and Sussex for four years. Travelled extensively in Italy in the 1970s studying the early frescoes. In 1987 made his first carvings in wood, first exhibited at Trinity College, Dublin. Using his theatre training he wrote, adapted and directed numerous plays for youth drama projects.

He has had ten one-man exhibitions in London and elsewhere in Britain. His work has been shown in many mixed exhibitions including The Royal Academy and The London Group.  With both of these his work has travelled on tours throughout Britain. His paintings and sculpture are represented in many private collections in Britain, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Canada and the USA.
